Relax, everyone. Jasmine, the popular YouTube alternative app for iOS devices is not going away. Rather, it is temporarily unavailable in the App Store due to “crash-on-launch issues” on the iPad.
Released earlier this month, the free app recently received a glowing review from Christine Chan, who called it a “great choice for video consumption.”
According to an announcement made within the app, Jasmine was pulled from the App Store to correct some authentication issues that only a patch can fix. In the interim, the app is fully function for existing customers on the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad.
We’ll let you know when Jasmine returns to the App Store.
