Zynga has announced yet another acquisition. The game developer has purchased November Software to help them expand into the “mid-core” game market, according to AllThingsD.
According to Szymon Swistun, former co-founder of November Software:
We realized we could accelerate game development by combining our team’s expertise building blockbuster console games and Zynga’s strength in building social games on a massive scale.
November Software’s credits include the online game, Golden Arrow.
In September, Zynga announced the purchase of A Bit Lucky whose Facebook games include Lucky Space and Lucky Train. Earlier this year, Zynga paid $200 million for Draw Something maker OMGPOP.
Details of Zynga’s latest acquisition were not announced.
