Availability For iPad mini, iPad 4 Slip Past Nov. 2

Availability For iPad mini, iPad 4 Slip Past Nov. 2

Three days after preorders began and the iPad mini is officially sold out. Wi-Fi models, which originally showed a Nov. 2 delivery date won’t be available to new buyers for another two weeks, according to Apple’s website.
Although we know nothing about initial supply, the iPad mini appears to be selling at a brisk pace. Within 20 minutes or so after pre-orders began Friday, the white model was completely sold out. It took another three days for the black model to do the same.
It could be that Apple has a more limited supply of the white version, although we won’t actually know this until later. One should recall that prior to the iPad mini’s launch, it was reported that supply chain difficulties would cut availability for the 7.9-inch tablet, at least initially.

Meanwhile, availability for the iPad with Retina display has also slipped beyond Nov. 2. Wi-Fi models for the fourth generation tablet now won’t be available to ship for one week.
Wi-Fi + Cellular versions of both tablets won’t be available for shipment until mid-November, as originally announced.
Both the iPad mini and iPad with Retina display go on sale this Friday, Nov. 2 in the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
Which iPad did you buy, if any?
