Bomb Your Way Through Some Spooky Arcade Action In Spook Boy

Bomb Your Way Through Some Spooky Arcade Action In Spook Boy

This Halloween, you need not go out to do some ghost-hunting. That’s because the ghosts themselves are coming to get you, and they’re bringing some company. Ghosts, along with ghouls and monsters, are out and about in the recently released Spook Boy.
As the story of Spook Boy goes, you are …
… awoken in the middle of the night by a terrible sound! A dark figure looms over you. He tells you he is a powerful wizard and that he has accidentally torn a rift between worlds. He needs time to find a solution, but until then you are all that stands between the world of the living and the terrible horde of ghosts and monsters about to pour out of your closet.
Now, you have to take a stand against these evil forces.

Made by the same developer behind Me Red: The Ultimate Adventure, Spook Boy is an arcade-style game where you have to drive different kinds of supernatural entities away from your room.
(Speaking of the room, I like that it’s plastered with posters of “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “The Science of Sleep.” But I digress …)
Using the game’s simple tap and swipe controls, you can defeat your spooky enemies by throwing magic bombs at them. Some of these bombs are just OK, while some are more ghost-repellent.
Designed for iPhone, but not yet optimized for iPhone 5, Spook Boy is available now in the App Store for free.
