Last month, Apple unveiled the fifth generation iPod touch with significantly updated specifications. Along with an entirely different design, the fifth generation iPod touch was given a faster processor, a beautiful 4-inch Retina display, and a camera upgrade.
The fifth generation iPod touch is packed with a 5 megapixel camera, an LED flash, and 1080p HD video recording. The fourth generation iPod touch sports a 0.7 megapixel camera with a 960 x 720 video resolution. As you can see, the specifications are definitely better, but how does the new iPod touch compare to its predecessor?
In my opinion, the camera quality is noticeably better with the new iPod touch. After testing out the improved camera, I can definitely see the iPod touch becoming a sleek point-and-shoot replacement at some point in the future.
Why not judge the camera quality for yourself? Take a look at out video showdown below and compare the two iPod cameras side by side. Which device do you prefer?
