Just in time for those cold fall and winter days, Food Network is introducing a series of bimonthly cookbooks for the iPad.
The first in the Food Network Favorites series, Super Soups, focuses on original and easy-to-make soup dishes. The recipes feature photos optimized for the new tablet’s Retina display.
The 40 recipes in the cookbook are divided in sections like Go-To, Hall of Fame, Family Friendly, Healthy, and Hearty.
Each page of the app also contains tips, tricks, videos, and a “Why You’ll Crave It” feature.
While the first issue is focusing on soups, Food Network is promising to take a look at cookies, pies, breakfast, burgers, and more in upcoming editions.
The Food Network Favorites app can be downloaded for free in the App Store now. There are a few ways to purchase a subscription. A single edition can be purchased for $2.99 while a three-month subscription is $3.99 that will net you at least two cookbooks. A yearly subscription is $9.99.
The three-month and yearly subscriptions will renew automatically unless canceled through your iTunes account.
