Toyzilla has knocked down the fortress off its new Halloween update. Or has it?
Toyzilla is a game that, as its name suggests, combines toys and Godzilla. The game features monsters that are cute like playthings even as they’re deadly like the famous prehistoric monster.
In the game, you collect little monsters, each of which has unique abilities. You then deploy these monsters in combat, letting them knock down fortresses that protect a royal family of humans.

As mentioned, Toyzilla has supposedly unleashed its Halloween update, which contains a new Halloween theme along with the following:
Game Center enabled! 30 New Offline fortress! Improved login to backup saved game Recommend a fortress to friend! Improved wind dragon first skill Improved server speed Improved Battlelog records Daily gift connection lag solved Random name generator (what??)
But as reported by a number of players, Toyzilla is currently stuck in a Halloween update loop.
It turns out that after installing the update, you will be prompted by the game to install the selfsame update without any way to proceed to the game itself. Oooooh, spooky.
Kidding aside, Toyzilla creator OrionArts has noted the issue. An update patch is said to be on its way to the game.
Compatible with iPad, Toyzilla is available in the App Store as a free-to-play game. But it’s recommended that you wait for the remedial update before downloading the game, lest you be stuck in its Halloween update loop.
