Hockey is a game of precision and toughness. Players must be nimble, yet strong in order to succeed. Let’s take the slap shot, for example. You need enough strength to get the puck to the goal, but not so much that you overshoot it. When targeting, the slightest lapse in focus and dexterity will send the it skipping and soaring far off course. So, the question is, do you have what it takes? Well, here’s your chance to prove it.

Step into open courts and at the end of docks with your stick, puck, and that winning attitude as you’re challenged against difficult environments. Hazards include wind, rain, snowmen, snow piles, cardboard goalies, buoys, and more. To make things a bit more interesting, you’ll even need to fire some shots into cans on occasion.

Your objective is to score as many goals as possible before the time expires. For each goal, you’re awarded points and additional time. The amount added to the scoreboard and timer depends upon the difficulty of the shot: the distance, number of obstacles, etc. Unlock new levels by achieving the necessary score. Once a level is unlocked in Challenge mode, it becomes available to play in Practice mode.

Need a little more excitement? Sure, you do. Compete against human opponents in online Multiplayer mode. Play the standard Timed mode or the turn-based Classic mode. Like the basketball variation or mini-game, H-O-R-S-E, each player in Classic mode takes a shot and, if successful, the opponent must accomplish the same shot. Obviously, you’ll be spelling G-O-N-G-S-H-O-W instead of H-O-R-S-E.
