Spell To Survive In The New Duel Mode In Spellvetica 2.0

Spell To Survive In The New Duel Mode In Spellvetica 2.0

Released just a little over a couple of months ago, Spellvetica has already spelled its way to version 2.0.
Spellvetica is a universal iOS game that works like a hybrid of Tetris andSpelltower, its resemblance to the latter being more pronounced.
In the game, you await and control the descent of clusters of letters shaped in the manner of Tetris blocks. Then, once they’re settled together, you must clear the letters by forming words with them. You can even impose collateral damage on nearby letters by forming longer words.
In the new 2.0 version of the game, you can begin dropping your collateral damage on your opponent. That’s right: opponent. That’s because Spellvetica 2.0 comes with a new duel mode.

Spellvetica’s duel mode lets you play against your dueling partners aka friends on the same local network.
Plus, one nice thing about this is that it works regardless of device. This means that you can play on your iPhone or iPad against your friend, who just happens to have an Android device. (Spellvetica is also available on Android.)
And while you’re at it and being all competitive, why not challenge your friends to beat your score and achievements with the game’s newly added Game Center integration? Through Game Center, Spellvetica 2.0 adds a new leaderboard and over 50 achievements.
Spellvetica 2.0 also brings iPhone 5 support, redesigned gameplay layout, an interactive tutorial, and a new eraser tool for easily clearing your selection.
