The Apple Store Is Down

This is odd: the Apple Store, our go-to venue for the latest and greatest Apple products, is down.

It could be that minor, under-the-hood maintenance is being performed on the website. But more typically, the Apple Store goes offline when a new Apple product is being added. The last time this happened, the brand-new iPhone 5 appeared once the store went back online. This time, we’re not sure what could be coming our way (if anything).

For a while, we’ve been expecting an iPad mini to launch. Though this most likely won’t appear in the Apple Store until after Apple has made its official announcement, probably at a special press event.

If any notable changes are made to the Apple Store, we’ll let you know.
