Apple is doing a good job of restocking the iPad with Retina display. According to 9to5Mac, and confirmed by visiting Apple’s online store, the fourth-generation iPad is now available for immediate shipment. Previously, Apple was reporting a shipping delay of “3-5 business days.” Meanwhile, Apple is reporting that new iPad mini orders won’t ship for two weeks.
Both new iPads went on sale in Wi-Fi only formats on Friday, Nov. 2. Wi-Fi + Cellular models are expected to arrive in stores in mid-November.
Apple reported this week that 3 million iPads were sold during the first three days of release. However, the company’s announcement did not break down sales between the iPad mini and iPad with Retina display.
