EA Games has just updated its Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12 iPhone app, optimizing the popular golf game for the iPhone 5′s 4-Inch display.
Though the phrase “better late than never” comes to mind, besides making changes required in order to fit the application to the new, larger iPhone handset, fans of the app will also find that under-the-hood performance improvements have been made to the game. Before the update, PGA TOUR 12 struggled to run on an iPhone 5 even in compatibility mode. Now, however, folks will be pleased to see that the application runs well on the sixth-gen smartphone.
Currently, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12 for the iPhone and iPod touch is available in the App Store for $0.99. An iPad version of the game is also available for the higher price of $4.99.
