Today’s Apps Gone Free: DrawRace 2, Blux Camera, Grimm’s Hansel And Gretel And More

Blux Camera features a new technology called Photographic Environment Analysis and Recommendation, which helps you take the perfect picture. Just tap the icon in the top left corner of the screen to analyze your environment, and a disembodied voice will tell you exactly what you need to do to take a great picture. The app also includes 14 filters, iCloud support, a macro shooting mode, and the ability to make real-time adjustments to your feed.

Grimm ($0.99 → Free, 51.8 MB): A platform game that has you guiding a carriage through twisted environments in order to return a lost child to its mother. You’re able to tilt your iDevice to move the carriage around the environments. Tap on-screen buttons to jump and brake, and slide your finger across the screen to launch the child from the carriage to solve puzzles and take out your enemies. The game includes 10 levels, and eight mini-levels.
Grimm is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 275 ratings.
Mind Jogger ($0.99 → Free, 8.6 MB): Jog your mind with this helpful productivity app. It helps you create new, positive habits by reminding you to perform them throughout the day. For example, if you need to be reminded to drink more water or be mindful of your posture. The app allows you to create up to 64 different reminders, all of which can be customized in a variety of ways.
Mind Jogger is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 55 ratings.
DrawRace 2 ($2.99 → Free, 299.5 MB): Draw your path to victory in this unique racing game. Instead of controlling your vehicle in real-time, DrawRace 2 requires you to draw your path with the tip of your finger before the race even begins. To beat your opponents, you need to find the best possible path around the track and the perfect speed. The game includes more than 180 challenges to take on, four modes, loads of unlockable vehicles, and achievements via Game Center.

Super Bit Bash ($1.99 → Free, 10.6 MB): This retro-inspired endless platform game has you dashing over, under, and through obstacles to earn the highest possible score. Just tap the screen to jump and swipe in any direction to dash. You can only dash as long as your power meter at the top of the screen is filled with coins, but you can collect more to keep on going. The game includes two modes, randomly generated levels, 8-bit inspired art and music, unlockable power-ups and characters, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

RoboSockets: Link Me Up ($0.99 → Free, 34.3 MB): Help the RoboCivilization get back on its feet by collecting energy in this puzzle game. Connect the sockets of the various robot characters that fall from the top of the screen to build up your energy meter. You must connect at least five robots before their energy can be harvested. The game includes 16 levels in story mode, timed and arcade modes, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

The object of the game is to slide rows and columns of colored rings in order to match them to the squares in the background. The thing is, for every move you make that doesn’t result in a perfect match, a new set of squares will be added to the screen. The game includes three modes, more than 100 levels, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Grimm’s Hansel and Gretel ~ 3D Interactive Pop-up Book ($4.99 → Free, 60.3 MB): You’ve never experienced Hansel and Gretel like this before. Thanks to StoryToys’ PopIris engine, the story of Hansel and Gretel is able to come to life through interactive pop-up scenes. The app includes 39 pages of text, 11 double-page interactive pop-up scenes, professional narration, and a relaxing music score.
