A new jailbreak tweak called “UIRotation” makes it possible for jailbreakers to manually rotate their iPhone’s screen using a preset Activator action.
Once you have downloaded and installed the free jailbreak tweak, configuring UIRotation is simply a matter of selecting an Activator action, and choosing the screen rotation. So, for example, you can have the jailbreak tweak rotate your iPhone’s screen to the left (in landscape mode) through a triple-press of the Home button.
Manually rotating the iPhone’s screen means you won’t have to rely on the handset’s accelerometer (which, as most of you will know, doesn’t always get screen rotations right). It’s a handy jailbreak tweak, and something jailbreakers will appreciate.
As mentioned, UIRotation is available to download in the Cydia Store for free, via the BigBoss repository. Below, we’ve included a video walkthrough of the jailbreak tweak, which shows off UIRotation in action. Enjoy!
