The stuffed animals were fine, as were the Halloween costumes. Additionally, I actually found the Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes book somewhat interesting. Maybe, however, this Angry Birds thing is going a bit too far.
Bloomberg is reporting that Rovio has signed a licensing deal with Kaiku Finance LLC to begin selling Angry Birds-inspired Visa prepaid cards in 2013. Available in four designs, the cards will require customers to pay $1.95 a month for fee-free purchasing online and at stores.
Additionally, reloading the cards will cost between $2.95 and $4.95, with some free reload options available as well. The designs include The Red Bird, The Yellow Bird, Bomb Bird, and the Bad Piggies. The cards will only be sold on Kaiku’s website.
I absolutely love Angry Birds. In fact, I believe Apple owes a lot of their early App Store success to Rovio. Still, Yellow Bird bank cards?
