Apple’s iPad has once again claimed top honors in J.D. Power and Associates’U.S. Tablet Satisfaction Study. In doing so, it bested the Amazon Kindle Fire for the second year in a row..................
In a survey of 1,857 tablet owners conducted in February, the iPad scored 836 out of a possible 1,000 points. The Kindle Fire wasn’t far behind with 829 points. J.D. Power and Associates asked respondent to rate their tablets on performance, ease of operation, design, features, and cost.
Samsung tablets received a score of 822 points. This was six points off the survey’s average score of 828 points.
This is only the second time that J.D. Power and Associates has released a U.S. Tablet Satisfaction Study. After the iPad was awarded the top spot in 2012, Apple began advertising the win online.
In March, the iPhone topped J.D. Power and Associates’ U.S. Wireless Smartphone Satisfaction Study for the ninth straight year.
