If you like the look of Android’s “Jelly Bean” lock screen, consider downloading JellyLock...........
This new jailbreak tweak adds an iOS version of the Android lock screen to a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch, and is currently available to download from the Cydia Store in a free beta.
Once installed, the famous Jelly Bean lock screen, at which users can drag an icon in order to lock or unlock their iDevice, will replace the standard slide-to-unlock mechanism. But that’s not all.
In the Settings app, JellyLock users have the option of customizing their jailbreak tweak in a number of different ways. First, it’s possible to alter the lock screen’s theme – a number of pre-configured alternatives come with JellyLock.
Second, you can set up “app shortcuts,” which allow users to launch any installed iOS application from the lock screen quickly and easily. Third, it’s possible to adjust the appearance of the “bean” itself, along with more minor customization options.
Below, we’ve included a video walkthrough of JellyLock in action. If you’re interested in installing this free tweak, be sure to add the developer’s repository to your Cydia app first. His repo address is: http://cydia.myrepospace.com/maxkatzmann/.
