In our  here on AppAdvice last November, emerged triumphant over two other popular apps of its kind, namely, and . If we were to hold another App Showdown, it’s likely that Felix would again be declared the winner, especially now that it has just been updated with more features.
Felix’s new key features include color themes, multiple account support, and user blocking.
In the latest version of Felix, you can now choose between three color themes: Classic, Gunmetal, and Striking. Just go to the app’s settings section to select any of them or simply slide up with two fingers to cycle through them.
Felix now also lets you add and switch between any number of App.net accounts you have at the top of the Dashboard tab.
As for user blocking, Felix now lets you hide your App.net content from certain undesired users. Whether they’re reposting or starring your content at such a rate as to be annoying, these users can be blocked with the tap of a button in the user profile view.

And following the introduction of App.net’s  last February, Felix has also been updated to allow paid App.net members to invite non-users right within the app.
The new version of the app also features the following improvements:
  • Tap and hold on a post’s author to collapse replies by that user.
  • The conversation bubble button’s behavior now matches swiping left on a post. (Try swiping left on a post when reading a conversation to see what it’s in reply to.)
  • Swiping right on a web view will dismiss it.
  • A crash reporting system’s been added – if Felix crashes for you, later you’ll be asked if you want to send a report.
