We may now know what Kevin Lynch is up to at Apple. The former chief technology officer at Adobe is said to be heading up Apple’s new “iWatch” team, according to sources who spoke with MacGeneration.
Lynch’s team is said to include employees that once worked in Apple’s iPod division. These include Robert Curtis, who worked on iPod firmware, along with Steve Bollinger, who is credited with a number of iPod and multitouch patents.
Lynch, who works under Bob Mansfield, serves as Apple’s vice president of technology.
In February, it was reported that upwards of 100 employees were working full-time on Apple’s long-rumored iWatch project.
