SideWalker Is Perhaps The First And Only Endless Walker In The App Store

Most games in the endless running genre are, well, endless runners, i.e., games that challenge you to virtually run for as long as you can. But also included in this genre are at least one endless swimmerendless skier, endless free-faller, and even an endless rafter. Now, let’s add another: endless walker..................

And what is most probably the first endless walker to emerge on iOS is the newly released SideWalker – Late to Work.
Billed as an “exciting endless runner that blends the best of Temple Run andFrogger,” SideWalker dares you to survive the mean sidewalks of New York City on your way to work.
Featuring a Minecraft-esque 3-D simulation of the streets of New York City, SideWalker challenges you to walk to work while avoiding pedestrians and dodging taxi cabs. However, it encourages you to hit tourists (all of whom wear pineapple prints and carry cameras that are supposed to annoy you) in order to collect cash aka “sidebucks,” which you can use toward upgrades.
Just swipe sideways to change your walking direction. Additionally, you can swipe up or down to increase or decrease your walking speed. Note that the faster you walk, the faster you go up the corporate ladder. Just kidding, of course. The faster your score goes up, I should say.
SideWalker admittedly has a really simple premise. But it can make for lots of endless running, I mean, endless walking fun. Now if only walking to work in real life could be this fun …
