Free Voice Calling Finally Arrives In Cubie Messenger

You can now say hello to free voice calling in Cubie Messenger.
Cubie Messenger is Taiwan’s answer to the United States’ WhatsApp, Japan’s Line, and South Korea’s KakaoTalk, among other popular messaging apps. It has support for chatting, multimedia sending, voice messaging, and now, voice calling.......................

Through its latest update, Cubie Messenger has gained its long-overdue voice calling feature. With this feature, you can now call your friends on Cubie for free. Note, though, that this feature is still in beta.
“One of our most requested features is here for all you lovely Cubiers,” saysthe Cubie team in a blog post. “As it’s in Beta, we hope you understand that call quality may sometimes be poor (partly due to your Internet connection) and other service disruptions might occur – please forgive us while we work on providing an even better, more stable calling function.”

Aside from voice calling support, the new Cubie update also includes an improvement to the app’s voice messaging function. With this improvement, you can now record voice messages up to 90 seconds long.
Also added by the update is a new chat room media library, which lets you easily see all of the photos and other types of media that have been shared in a chat room.
