QuickMark, the QR code- and barcode-scanning app for iOS, has been updated to version 4.6.0, adding support for “continuous scanning” and making a number of performance improvements to the application. What’s more, for a limited time only, iDevice owners can download the app free of charge in the App Store.........................
Continuous scanning is a useful feature, allowing users of the application to scan code after code with an iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Below, we’ve included a demo video that shows off the new feature in action.
The bad news, however, is that users must unlock continuous scanning in QuickMark 4.6.0 through a $1.99 in-app purchase.
Besides the above, developer SimpleAct Inc. has also made a number of performance improvements in the updated application, including the ability to decode from a photo album image when in “Scan” mode.
