Final Draft Reader Finally Turns Universal With New iPhone-Optimized Version

Final Draft Reader Finally Turns Universal With New iPhone-Optimized Version

Eight months after it was launched in the App Store as an iPad-only app,Final Draft Reader has finally been updated with native iPhone support.
That’s right: Final Draft Reader is now universal. Cue collective rejoicing from actors, agents, directors, and, of course, screenwriters with iPhones.
Final Draft Reader is the first official iOS companion to the popular screenwriting software Final Draft. Over a month ago, it was followed byFinal Draft Writer, which supports both writing and reading scripts, but that remains iPad-only.
In comparison, Final Draft Reader is now a universal app. Of course, in its transition to the iPhone, it has been updated with iPhone 5 support as well as iOS 6 support.

More important, though, is the app’s new iPhone-optimized reader view. This makes for easy reading of scripts even on the smaller screen of the iPhone.
In addition, the new iPhone version inherits most of the key features of the original iPad-only app.
These features include ScriptNote annotation, character highlighting, and comprehensive search. Email or Dropbox sharing and AirPrint integration are also included.
