New Feature In iOS 6: How To Use Offline Reading List For Safari

Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we’re here to help. This is iOS Advice.
Offline Reading List for Safari is a great new feature in iOS 6. This will allow you to save full Web pages to your iOS device and read them later without an Internet connection.
Note: Offline Reading List is only available on iPhone 4 or later, iPad 2 or later, and the fifth generation iPod touch.
If you’d like to learn how to use Offline Reading List, watch the video or follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open Safari and browse to an article you’d like to save in Safari’s Offline Reading List.
Step 2: Tap on the menu button located in the center of the bottom blue bar (next to the top address bar on an iPad) within Safari, then choose “Add to Reading List.”
Step 3: Your article will now begin downloading. In place of the bookmarks icon, a pair of glasses with a loading bar will be displayed until the article has been saved to the reading list. It’s important to note that if the Web page you’re saving is small in size, this icon may not be displayed.
Step 4: You will now be able to load the articles you’ve saved from the reading list. To access the reading list, tap the bookmarks icon on the bottom blue bar (the top bar on an iPad) within Safari, then tap on “Reading List” at the top on the screen. This is where your articles will be saved. If you’d like to remove an article from the “All” or “Unread” reading list, swipe across the item and tap on “Delete.”
The next time you’re not connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data, you’ll still be able to load the articles that you’ve saved in Safari’s Offline Reading List. If you’d like to test out your list, go into the Settings app and enable “Airplane Mode,” then attempt to load an item from the Offline Reading List.
